When I jumped into the abyss with my eyes closed, I died as the two of clubs.
When I got saved by the thorny bush and survived the fall, I re-incarnated as the King of Diamonds.
With the Grace of G-d, I am still alive. Literally and Metaphorically. Physically and Meta-physically.
